I get asked what gear I use for the podcast so here you go. I used to record on a Tascam DR-40 but switched to the Zoom H6. It has 4 xlr inputs. I consider it more like a 4 track vs 6 track recorder. You can get an adapter to record 6 xlr inputs but heads up those extra two won’t have phantom power. I use a Samson C01 condenser microphone that I originally bought 2015 as a kit with a Samson C02 pencil mic (small diaphragm). I normally have the guest on the Samson and I use the AKG P120 condenser mic. I use a windscreen on both the mics I bought the screen for the Samson at Guitar Center and use the Aura listen below for the P120. For headphones I use the ATH-M30X and ATH-M20x. To monitor sound I use this Samson S-amp headphone amp. I listed the Moukey stands I use below. I my bought XLR cables from Sam Ash a few years ago.
